I’ve read the previous reviews. Maybe “Foodsaver” has gone back to the drawing board because these canisters seem to have very thick walls. Maybe I will have better luck with these. I’ve been using them for about 2 months now & so far, so good.

My husband and I are very practical people, give our gift. One year, we have given our family have not done a food vacuum sealer. I used one for 24 years and could not do without it. I guess so long that I forgot to use the "learning curve" for the use of one of these great devices. My phone line was burning with questions. So here goes – some guidelines for the use of a vacuum-sealed food.

Using bags

First Use the functionsinstead of the pockets of pre-cut. You can cut to any length you require.

Second Wrap everything in plastic wrap. So you can pocket without washing can be reused. Ie, cheese, bacon, sausages, etc.

Third Make the bag about twice as long as it should be. So, how to use sections of your paper, you have the space to close bag several times.

Fourth Pre-freeze all the meat in plastic wrap (see # 2), then vacuum sealed. Make the desired portion size, butRemember, the smaller, faster to thaw.

Fifth Look for meat with sharp bones. I went through three bags of all, because it can not determine that a bone was making a hole in your pocket. I have a plastic "patch" on it. Remember, a small square of folded layers of plastic and put in the acute area before wrapping in plastic wrap – which usually does the trick.

Sixth If you freeze the liquid products such as soups or cooked vegetableswith liquid, which freeze first. You can use a Zip-Lock bag, freeze, then vacuum sealed. This may sound a bit odd, but nothing lasts vacuum sealed. Another tip for freezing liquids. If you change your zip-lock bag "in the freezer to cut sheets of cardboard from the packaging. So they freeze flat as an envelope and sticking. You can vacuum seal the bag big enough for more than one package (see # 3 Hold). You can also use freezer containers, but youneed to have the element of the empty container to seal it.

Seven pre-frozen items, like cookie dough, pizza dough in rolls in plastic wrap, then vacuum seal them. If you are ready for use, take the amount you need and put them in the refrigerator the day before needed and are ready to go. You can save several batches at a time and cleaning time.

With jars

First Most vacuum seals with an attachment that comes great poetryMouth jars. I use it to dry beans, rice, noodles, poetry, baking, snacks, coffee, tea bags. The list is endless.

Second Make sure the covers have been processed, never in the canning industry, process, or it is not consistent enough. Just try to include them in a different area of the kitchen, so do not mix with others. The seal will last for a while, but if you need new, you can get in the grocery store in canning section. All you need isin the shallow end. Never use a screw cap with this, it is not necessary and can break the seal.

Third If the attachment that goes on top of the jar with a damp paper towel because sometimes, you may have a thin constitution of powders such as flour.

Fourth You can freeze the glass to liquid products such as soups and stews, if you have freezer space, but you need enough space.

Boat

First Most manufacturers offer many containerdifferent sizes of plants. I'm not sure if they are interchangeable or not. Just want to be on the safe side and use my device offering.

Second Package can be used for any dry goods like cereals, grains, oatmeal, potato chips, snacks, bread crumbs are used, baking staples like flour, baking powder, sugar, etc. In other words – anything you are not overwhelmed and not want anything from what you normally a set package.

The third use for fruits and vegetables. EGOWash your clothes to dry and vacuum seal for the cold. The large drums are great for green leaf lettuce and celery. I can make a good salad, vacuum sealed and hold at least one week in the refrigerator. Preparation and cleaning – Sweet.

Fourth is used to seal vacuum deli meat. They work much better than the bags for this purpose.

Fifth When vacuuming a little flour or finely ground, place a paper towel or coffee filter paper on top afterpoured it into the container to prevent dust sucked into the tube provided.

Sixth Most manufacturers offer a bowl to marinate the meat. Usually rectangular. It's nice, but to be honest, one of the can than the amount you need is just to keep well. Just make sure you are sufficiently covered with the marinade from the meat.

Well, these are just a few tracks from the top of my head. It is not rocket science, but after a few rules, makes theLearning curve much easier. Vacuum sealers are actually a great way to save money and reduce waste. It is unclear how much money you have saved since I have with me for so long. I just know it would be for me, no one knows hard.

Hoover S3755 Bagless WindTunnel Canister Overviews

WindTunnel Technology uses computer designed air ducts to provide a powerful dual air stream to enhance dirt pick up capabilities. The WindTunnel design also reduces the scattering of debris, common to many ordinary canisters. The WindTunnel Bagless Power Nozzle Canister picks up more dirt than any other canister…period!

Hoover S3755 Bagless WindTunnel Canister Review

Update: This product are currently on sale through this link on Amazon.

We purchased our Hoover wind tunnel vacuum about two years ago when we needed something compact enough to carry around in our class ‘C’ motor home. We were happy with the size and thrilled with the way this little jewel performed. The telescopic wand made it perfect for storing in one of our limited closet spaces and the adjustable power selections on the suction intake make it ideal for many various cleaning tasks.

We found another reason to rave about this little vacuum as well. We live in Maine and about a year ago we had a wood pellet insert stove installed in our home. For those of you who don’t know, there’s a lot of fly ash and soot that builds up in and around the fire box and baffles and they have to be thoroughly cleaned every 8-10 days to keep them working efficiently. What I do is shut down the stove, empty the ash pan, and wait for it to cool down for a couple of hours. Then I attach a small flexible shop vac hose to the end of the regular Hoover hose and I proceed to thoroughly clean the entire stove. As soon as I am done I take the canister out of the vacuum, dump the contents into an ash can, and then I proceed to thoroughly wash the canister and filter with warm soapy water. This procedure allows me to get the stove back up and running in very short order. I wouldn’t dare take a chance of cleaning the stove with a regular vacuum cleaner unless the stove had been idle for hours and I was completely confident there was no chance of a hot ember igniting a fire within the vacuums filter or canister. Where this unit is bagless, easily disassembled and cleaned with water, I find it to be a safe and simple tool to use for this purpose. We’ve washed the filter somewhere in the vicinity of 20-25 times now and it appears as good, and works as good, as the day we bought it!

Oh, by the way, we stepped up to a class ‘A’ motor home this past summer with plenty of interior and undercarriage storage but I can assure you we have no intentions of upgrading our Hoover!

Hoover S3755 Bagless WindTunnel Canister Specifications

With its low-profile, power-nozzle design, this ultra-quiet bagless canister easily cleans in tough-to-get-at places like under the bed, couch, or coffee table. Its wide 15-inch nozzle cleans more carpeting per stroke than a traditional 12-inch nozzle, while edge groomers mounted on either side of the nozzle help loosen dust, dirt, and unsightly lint that collects along baseboards. Its patented WindTunnel technology uses computer-designed air ducts to provide a powerful dual-air stream, enhancing its ability to pick up dirt. Instead of bags, the vacuum uses a transparent cup, which is easily removed and emptied for quick dirt disposal. Multiple stages of filtration include its first-stage filter, which is in the dirt cup and traps most dust and allergens. Additional levels of filtration are located after the dirt cup to trap additional debris that may have escaped the first filter. The final filter is a HEPA allergen filter. For convenience, the unit’s deluxe pump-handle provides remote fingertip control for variable motor-speed settings and brush roll “on/off,” while an easy-to-use foot-pedal quickly rewinds the 22-foot cord. Attachments include a six-foot hose, telescopic chrome wands, a crevice tool, dusting brush, and filter cleaning brush. The vacuum measures 12-1/2 by 18 by 10-1/2 inches and carries a full one-year warranty. –Catie Unger
